How We Got Here
TMT started as a lawn mowing business when Tanner Treacy was just 12 years old, mowing a handful of lawns during the summer with his parents driving him from job to job. What began as a small summer hustle quickly grew into 40–50 properties and turned into something much bigger than he ever imagined.
In 2012, after graduating high school, Tanner officially registered the business and continued growing it year after year. In 2017, he was able to purchase property and build the shop we still operate out of today. Shortly after, we began seeing an increasing demand for light excavation and grading work.
In 2019, Tanner purchased the first company excavator—and from that point on, the landscaping and excavation side of the business began to grow rapidly. As that growth happened, Tanner realized something important: excavation and site work weren’t just another service we offered—they were his true passion.
That passion goes back even further. As a little kid, Tanner's mom would sit him in a highchair near a bridge project while DOT crews were working. He would spend hours watching the heavy equipment move and work. That fascination never left—it’s what still drives him today.
More Than Just Lawn Mowing: Why We're Rebranding
What started as a small mowing operation has since evolved into a full-service landscaping, patio installation, and excavation company. Today, TMT Excavation & Outdoor Services is proud to serve both residential and commercial clients with a range of outdoor solutions that enhance their properties.
Over time, excavation, landscaping, and site work became where our focus naturally gravitated. It’s what fuels us, what holds our attention, and where we see the future of the business heading.
The new name, TMT Excavation & Outdoor Services, better reflects:
